Pickling and Canning

Food preservation techniques are used to help preserve fresh produce to enjoy later. In this workshop, Erin Riseing will explore modern methods of food preservation with a focus on pickling and canning. We'll make a variety of quick pickles that will brighten your plate!

Limited kits will be available for pick up at the Dr. Huq Branch Library prior to the program. Choose "Program + Kit" ticket option to reserve a kit and a spot in the Zoom session. Choose "Program" option to reserve a spot in the Zoom session. This event is partnership with Niagara Community Garden Network.
