Get Growing is an all-ages event celebrating spring, nature, and gardening. The event will featuring programs across all of our locations, including educational workshops, crafts, and drop-ins for the whole family.

Seed Library

On April 6, 2024, the Seed Library returns to SCPL!

Kickstart your garden with our selection of free seeds available at all SCPL locations. Seed packets are limited to 5 per customer so that everyone in our community can enjoy the Seed Library.

Check out the variety of fruits, vegetable, herb, and flower seeds available in our Seed Catalogue. 

At the end of the season, please consider harvesting and returning your seeds to the library in a sealed and labelled envelope to be used in next year's seed library.
