On January 12, the Province of Ontario announced a second provincial emergency to curb the rise in COVID-19 cases we have been seeing across Ontario. These restrictions go into effect on Thursday, January 14 at 12:01 am. All SCPL branches will continue to offer contactless curbside holds pickup service with reduced service hours. Effective January 14th, Merritt and Port Dalhousie Branches have newly revised service hours which can be found here. Appointments for holds pickup are not needed. Please ensure you have received your hold notification prior to arrival.
All our book drops will remain open 24/7. Please note Port Dalhousie branch does not have a book drop available. All returned items will continue to be quarantined for 96-hours and sanitized before being put back into circulation. Returned items will remain on your library card until they are checked in after the quarantine period.
