Project Timeline

We’re excited to transform this new space into a beautiful library branch for our community. Below is a tentative project timeline. We will update this timeline as information becomes available.

It’s official! We have secured a new location at the Niagara Pen Centre. This library branch will be located on the north side of the mall.

We are optimistic we will be able to maintain much of the existing infrastructure at our future Niagara Pen Centre location to manage costs.

We are working on constructing a great home for our Merritt branch books and borrowable items. This location will also feature program space, study spaces, and more. Keep an eye out on our project updates page during the reconstruction phase of this project to follow along with the work.

The current Merritt branch located on Hartzel Road will close and we will begin the work to move furniture, books, and other materials over to the new location.
