St. Catharines Public Library Community Needs Assessment

The St. Catharines Public Library (SCPL) is inviting input from the community as part of a Community Needs Assessment. Building on the Library’s recent Strategic Plan, this work takes a closer look at how people currently use the Library, and where there may be opportunities to better support changing needs and expectations.

To support this work, SCPL has engaged Nordicity, an independent consulting firm with expertise in public libraries, community engagement, and strategic planning.

Whether you use the Library often, occasionally, or not at all, your perspective is important. As long as you’re a member of the St. Catharines community, we want to hear from you! There are a number of opportunities for you to get involved.

In-Person Pop-Ups

Drop by to have an informal conversation with Nordicity at different community locations:

  • Dunlop Drive Older Adults Centre: Friday, May 8, 12:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

  • Niagara Pen Centre (near Shoppers Drug Mart): Friday, May 8, 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Library Engagement Stations
