Design a Bookmark Contest
Calling all artists! You're invited to participate in our all-ages Design a Bookmark contest from Saturday, March 14-Monday, March 23. We challenge you to create an original design featuring a character from your favourite book, movie, video game, television series, or other form of media for a chance to have your design featured on an SCPL bookmark.
Dust off your markers and sharpen your pencil crayons to show off your creative capabilities!
How to participate:
From Saturday, March 14-Monday, March 23, pick up a Design a Bookmark Contest form at any SCPL location. Create your one-of-a-kind bookmark design on the form based on with this year's theme. Return your completed bookmark design to any SCPL location by Monday, March 23rd for your design to be considered for the contest.
Theme: Design a bookmark based on your favourite character.
Winners
We will be selecting one winner from each of the following age groups:
- Preschool - 0-5
- School Age - 6-11
- Teen - 12-17
- Adult - 18+
Winners will have their designs professionally printed onto bookmarks that will be distributed at SCPL locations. Please note: Bookmarks will include the winners' first name and age.
