Heads up about our holiday hours!
Jingles bells are ringing, the holidays are just around the corner, and SCPL is preparing to be closed for a few days over the holidays to give our team some time to spend with their families. Make sure you mark your calendar with our holidays hours to avoid disappointment when visiting the library over the next few weeks:
Christmas Eve
Wednesday, December 24, 2025 – Closed at 2pm
Christmas Day
Thursday, December 25, 2025 – Closed
Boxing Day
Friday, December 26, 2025 – Closed
New Year’s Eve
Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – Closed at 2pm
New Year’s Day
Thursday, January 1, 2026 – Closed
Remember, our library closures include our Port Plus service! The Port Dalhousie Branch will not be open during these closure dates and times.
Sunday Hours
We're hitting 'pause' on our Sunday Hours at the Dr. Huq Family Library Branch and our Port Plus service. Sunday Hours will not be available on Sunday, December 21 and Sunday, December 28.
