Teen Review: Rocket League
Rocket League
Video game
Rocket League is an online player versus player video game. You start by choosing the car you want to use to compete. You can customize your car, choose colour, wheels, topper, antennae, and boosts. You play on soccer fields, using your car to try to score by hitting a soccer ball into your opponent's net. You can play first in a training mode to learn the game and practice. You can play either on your own, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, or 4 on 4. The team that gets the most goals within the 5-minute game wins. You start off driving, but with practice, you can start to learn to get into the air and do tricks by holding down your boost button while holding the joystick down.
What I liked about this game is that the training mode allows you to learn about the game and how to play it before competing with other players. What I disliked about the game is that with more people in the game, it can get annoying because you can have up to 8 players going after the one ball. One of the game's strengths is that some of the music is good. The sounds in the game make it seem like you are at an actual soccer match! Its weakness is that the game has a lot of glitches. But the game does give you free items because of this problem.
I give this game 4/5 stars.
