Did you know that Friday, June 5 is a PA Day for DSBN and NCDSB elementary schools? It can be hard to fill a whole day with fun activities for the kids. Don’t worry, SCPL has got you covered. Join us for a day of drop-in activities the whole family will love. That’s right – there is no need to register for any of our children's and family programs on June 5!
Drop-in programs give St. Catharines families flexibility for whatever the PA Day brings. Plus, our drop-in programs are designed to support children of all ages, making them the perfect PA Day activity for families with multiple children of varying ages.

In Drop-In: Builder Lab, there is no limit to your imagination! Explore a variety of materials to build to your heart's content.
Drop-In: Around the World Circle with Bridges Niagara
10:30am-11:30am | Dr. Huq Family Library Branch
Join us and Bridges Niagara for a unique learning opportunity to help children and their caregivers navigate important social topics through the magic of books!
Drop-In: Multiculturalism Day Celebration
1pm-2pm | Central Library
Our friends from the Bridges Niagara Community Connections team invite you to make a national flag replica representing the many communities of immigrants that have made St. Catharines their new home.
Drop-In: LEGO Creation Station
2pm-4pm | Central Library
Let your imagination lead the way at this open-ended LEGO afternoon.

Browse the shelves of our children’s book collection, enjoy some free play with the toys in the children’s areas, or practice some core skills and early literacy on an AWE station available at the Central Library, Dr. Huq Family Library Branch, and Merritt Branch. It’s impossible to be bored at the library!
