Teen Review: Ratatouille

Ratatouille

Movie

The movie is written and directed by Brad Bird. Ratatouille is a movie about a rat named Remy who has a special gift in the kitchen. His only problem is that he’s a rat. When he meets a human named Alfredo Linguini he quickly realizes that this human can’t cook. They decide to work together secretly to help the restaurant Gusteau’s thrive again. One of the strengths that this movie has is its visual appearance. When watching the film, I liked seeing all the different things happening in the kitchen. They did a good job making it look like a real kitchen including some of the chaos. Something I really liked about the movie was the main slogan which was that anyone can cook. I loved how Remy the rat saw that and took it to heart and put himself out there. I would recommend this movie to kids because it’s fun to watch. I would also recommend this movie to adults as there are some jokes that they would find funny as well. If I were to give this movie a rating out of 5 stars, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best, I would rate this movie 5/5 stars.
