Teen Review: They Both Die at the End

They Both Die at the End is about two guys, Mateo and Rufus, who find out they’re going to die in 24 hours. They meet through an app and decide to spend their last day together and try to live as much as possible before time runs out. 

This book is really emotional and kind of sad, but in a good way. The idea is super interesting and makes you think about life. The relationship between Mateo and Rufus feels real even though it happens fast. One weakness is that there are random side characters that don’t really add much. 

I liked how it makes you appreciate life more and think about what actually matters. Even though you know the ending, it still hits hard 

I would recommend this to people who like sad stories and books that make you think.
